Description Technical Specs   1964 - 1972 Chevelle Big Block Chevy 2.5” Downpipes with Flanges For Exhaust Manifolds, Stainless Steel, Pair New exhaust forward down pipes for your Chevelle. Proper fit for all 1964 - 1972 models with a Big Block Chevy engine and stock style exhaust manifolds. These downpipes work wonderfully for most aftermarket designed header or cat back exhaust systems. Perfect for our FUE-4141 Street Exhaust System if your running stock type BB manifolds! These down-pipes are designed to connect to your factory type 1964 - 1972 Chevelle style exhaust manifolds and end at the transmission cross member area. This set comes with both Left Hand and Right Hand downpipes and (2) 3 bolt flanges for 64-72 Chevelle models with big block engines and stock type exhaust manifolds. *Fits 64 - 72 Chevelles with BB engines and 1964 - 1972 Chevelle style exhaust manifolds; 396, 402, 427, 454, ETC. *This Kit includes one pair of Downpipes and 2 proper design 3 bolt Flanges. Exhaust pipe diameter is 2.5 inches. *Please Note ~ Each pipe measures about 36 inches in length. They are made from premium quality 16 gauge 409 Stainless Steel. Mandrel Bent design will fit correctly onto 1964 - 1972 Chevelle factory type cast iron exhaust manifolds. Includes (2) 3 bolt flanges. PART NUMBER: FUE-679 *Sometimes, the outlet diameter on your exhaust manifolds will be deteriorated from rust or wear. You may want to grind the ball flare on the down-pipe slightly to allow for correct sealing.
