During the late 80’s the classic car itch could not be put off any longer for Mike. After about a 15-year hiatus of life without any muscle, Mike saved up enough money for a 1967 Chevelle SS. He attended multiple car shows and swap meets trying to find original GM and used parts for his Chevelle. Soon the leftover parts piled up. Mike became friends with other enthusiasts and the source for their parts. Mike, JK (Mike's Buddy), and Shawn (Mike's Son), filled vendor spots at these car shows with parts for sale. Mike's Restoration Parts soon came to life and turned into a full-time job. The need for restoration parts became ever so clear to Shawn who soon took over the business. A brick-and-mortar store was established to offer customers with quality restoration parts, original GM, and used parts. Muscle Car Central (MCC) was born, offering parts for 66-72 Chevelle and 68-72 Nova models. Ben came on board in 2001 to help with the ever-growing demand for quality restoration parts. MCC soon became a dealer for some of the biggest manufacturers in the industry. The Launch of musclecarcentral.com. After getting requests from many of the restorers to create a website, www.musclecarcentral.com was launched. In a short time, orders started to come in. Clay came on board to help manage the site and IT. Matt also joined the team to help manage the sales and customer service. With the website, MCC's reach became worldwide. Today MCC ships hundreds of packages a day all over the world. Establishing Muscle Car Central! Over the next 30 years, MCC continued to add more products to the store. MCC attended several car shows setting up huge tents filled with sheet metal, weatherstripping, emblems, trim, etc. The company expanded their selection of restoration parts to 1967-2023 Camaro Parts on www.camarocentral.com. Also 1967-2002 Firebird Parts were added on www.firebirdcentral.com. Operations moved to a few warehouses over the years. In 2008 MCC moved into its current warehouse located in Richmond, KY. Located directly off Interstate 75 with easy access for both customers and shipping companies. MCC now supplies parts and accessories worldwide. Starting with only 2 employees the company now has a friendly and knowledgeable staff of over 30 associates. With well over 100 years of Restoration Parts knowledge on staff, MCC is the nation's source for restoration parts. Continually Learning and Sharing.
