Tune up your 1964 - 1967 Chevelle GM A-body chassis with RideTech’s TruLink Adjustable Rear Suspension System. Achieve significantly better handling and launch characteristics along with dramatically improved ride quality and service life. The comprehensive system features heavy duty tubular control arms equipped with patent-pending R-Joints plus application-tuned HQ Series adjustable shock absorbers. We replace your car’s flex-prone stamped upper and lower control arms with precision-welded tubular steel StrongArms constructed from heavy duty 1.5” OD .156 wall DOM steel tube. The end result is less flex for more predictable handling and launch characteristics.

StrongArm rear control arms are precision welded at our Jasper, Indiana factory and then powder-coated for long-lasting appearance. We install patent-pending R-Joint rod ends and bearings for noise-free, high articulation movement with zero stiction. R-Joints eliminate the binding, stiction, noise and vibration associated with poly bushings offered in most aftermarket control arms. R-Joints never need lubrication and have exceptional wear resistance. For ultimate articulation, the TruLink system features press-in R-Joints for your axle to upper control arm attachment points. This critical feature is often overlooked in the upgrade process.

The final piece in the TruLink system is a pair of RideTech HQ Series adjustable monotube shock absorbers. We custom-valve them specifically for the A-Body platform with modern tires. We provide rebound adjustment to help you fine tune compliance. With a few turns of the adjusting knob, you can tune rebound damping to suit both your car’s needs and your personal preferences. Reasons you need this kit:


1.The dual-rate spring coil springs will allow the vehicle to transition small road irregularities via a soft spring rate. When the vehicle compresses the spring far enough (through large bumps or cornering), it transitions to the firmer spring rate to control the bump or body roll. We have worked closely with Hyperco to develop custom dual rates to ensure the best ride possible.
2. Shocks are the brains of your suspension...the single most important influence on ride quality and handling performance. RideTech and Fox have spent years refining the characteristics of these monotube shocks to optimize the performance of YOUR car! 24 Valve Single Adjustable Front and Rear Shocks with Top adjustment knob for easy tuning!
3.Most OEM front swaybars were calibrated with tires and cornering loads that were radically less capable than today. We increase the diameter of the swaybar to minimize the body roll through the corners to optimize the handling performance. Includes Delrin bushing to eliminate stiction and allow the swaybar to move freely.
4. OEM rubber control arm bushings allow too much deflection on the control arms. Poly bushings resist smooth rotation and impose stiction. Delrin bushings eliminate the deflection AND the stiction, leading to a huge improvement in both ride quality and handling.
5.Most OEM front suspension geometry, in addition to being designed over 50 years ago, induced "positive camber" when cornering (loaded tire leans away from the turn). This is a huge compromise in cornering performance and feel. By installing a taller set of balljoints, we reposition the control arms to correct this condition and create a much more stable and enjoyable driving and cornering experience.

Reasons you need this kit:


1.The dual-rate spring coil springs will allow the vehicle to transition small road irregularities via a soft spring rate. When the vehicle compresses the spring far enough (through large bumps or cornering), it transitions to the firmer spring rate to control the bump or body roll. We have worked closely with Hyperco to develop custom dual rates to ensure the best ride possible.
2. Shocks are the brains of your suspension...the single most important influence on ride quality and handling performance. 3.Most OEM front swaybars were calibrated with tires and cornering loads that were radically less capable than today. We increase the diameter of the swaybar to minimize the body roll through the corners to optimize the handling performance. Includes Delrin bushing to eliminate stiction and allow the swaybar to move freely.
4. OEM rubber control arm bushings allow too much deflection on the control arms. Poly bushings resist smooth rotation and impose stiction. Delrin bushings eliminate the deflection AND the stiction, leading to a huge improvement in both ride quality and handling.
5.Most OEM front suspension geometry, in addition to being designed over 50 years ago, induced "positive camber" when cornering (loaded tire leans away from the turn). This is a huge compromise in cornering performance and feel. By installing a taller set of balljoints, we reposition the control arms to correct this condition and create a much more stable and enjoyable driving and cornering experience.
